Welcome to Maggie Giraud's website
Maggie Giraud FRSA is a free-lance art historian and curator, based in London and Devon. She has many years of experience of talking about the visual arts.
Her specialist topics are Renaissance Florence, the late 19th/early 20th century period in Paris, and Dartington Hall.
"I can’t wait for ‘Talking Pictures’ to start again in the autumn! Maggie shares her knowledge in a very generous and unstuffy way. You are never made to feel inferior or silly as she encourages everyone to participle and values all comments."
"I like Maggie’s friendly informality in conveying quite complex ideas; she is deeply engaged with her material, and I think also engages quite comfortably with her audience while wearing her learning lightly."
"This was exactly the sort of thing one needs in an art lecture – a chance to listen and look without being talked down to or lectured at."
