About Maggie Giraud FRSA
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Maggie, who is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, was educated at Leeds School of Art, and London University. She was employed as Curator and Archivist to the Dartington Hall Trust, and was the founding curator of High Cross House.
Maggie has many years of experience in talking about art to groups of a wide range of age and knowledge base. She is particularly interested to encourage people who have perhaps been previously intimidated by formal art history lectures. Talks have taken place at a variety of venues in the South West from local art societies and galleries to Exeter Museum,The Castle Hotel Taunton and Dillington House. Further afield Maggie has spoken at The Ken Stradling Collection, Bristol, and at the Twentieth Century Society and Richmond Art Society in London. |
